Would any European members hazard a guess as to whether a bone stock 2008 will pass necessary MFK (or other) motor vehicle tests in CH?

Or is there a chance I'll need to make modifications to be in compliance with emissions?
As far as I know, I think you would need to change the speedometer reading from mph to kmph - don't know if our cars are able to just switch it electronically in the dashboard. You would need to go to a dealer or any other garage and get a emissions test (don't know the exact word in English; it's where they check the smoke from the exhaust... got it?) - since you have a standard exhaust, that shouldn't be a problem. I try to get more information on that if you want me to...

But just to let you know, it's way easier, if your car is bone stock!!

I would absolutely not consider options 1, 2, or 3.

Option 5 looks like a downer.

I would choose option 4 with the opportunity to consider option 6 in due time.

yes, my speedo has a button to alternate between mph and kmph.

Car is bone stock. Many thanks for the advice. Sounds promising.

Just a curiosity that I don't think has been covered yet but yeah, they'll pay to bring it over for you but after two years, who pays to bring it back?
