Anyone do this here? I really like the look of the invidia, but the droning issue is a big turnoff to me, so I was wondering if using the stock resonator would make a big enough difference to make it worth it? Sound clips would be great

a few have done this and have been happy with the results.

 

Or just find a muffler shop, and have a set of the invida style mufflers installed. there is a big selection of aftermarket replacements avalable.

 

There are people on the board who have done this and they got rid some of the drone.

Am loving it as it is!

 

so i take it your radio is now useless and so is any talking on your cell phone

I lost the droning by using a test pipe.

 

Anyway I will be selling the Invidia shortly and get the Titanium J's Racing Dual Exhaust. But I still beleive the Invidia rules in looks!

 

are you running a resonated test pipe or just straight? I have a Berk Tech Test Pipe and am hoping it will kill some drone.......will find out saturday

You may lose the drone but gain a check engine light. I did. Drove me nuts, so I sold the test pipe. Cant verify the drone loss, though. I had the pipe before the exhaust. I have heard this does reduce drone. Did you try the silencers yet?
