Isn't that our "Engine Start" button?

Regardless, I'm confident that the switch is not made by Honda. Why would they take up making switch gear for one part? It's outsourced. For example, do you think that Honda makes any of the lighting on their products. Look closely, you will see it is all made by Stanley Electric.

Car companies design and assemble cars. They actually manufacture very few of the parts themselves. They actually do the design on some of the parts themselves and they are manufactured by suppliers. Other parts are designed and manufactured by suppliers to the car comapany's specs.
Tires, wheels, shocks, glass, brakes, lights are generally outsourced.

Real car manufacturers design their interior and dash.

Shape, size, color is most likely designed by Honda. Actual switchgear inside may use some generic components, who cares? But what you see is designed by Honda.

I guess it is a successful design. It turned out to be so popular.

Otherwise, the start button is nothing new. All motorcycles have a start button.

I hate the center console of most American cars. Most of them have a rectangular empty spot. Either a cheap generic stereo, or a Navigation system goes in. It looks exactly the same in Mustang, Focus, 500. Cheap? Yes. A good thoughtful design? Absolutely not.

Is SSC Aero the fastest production car? Yes. Really? No. It's just an expensive kit car that passed emissions.

It might be the fastest, but it definitely not the most desirable. Building a supercar is one thing, selling them is another whole different story. How many would chose this over McLaren, Bugati or Koenigsegg? Sure it fast but it doesn't have the pedigree of Mclaren or Bugati.

The word "economy" has no place in the same sentence as a supercar.
Is whats bad is those are the same headlights as my wifes Focus. Those headlights came standard on the Euro edition SVT Focus and were available as an option from Ford Racing for all other Focus (Or is that focii).

Wow. I had no idea. I was wondering why the headlights did not transition smoothly to the body. Lame...

I think Veyron is still the fastest "real" production car...
