sorry if i'm not following conversation well, but I haven't seen any modifications mentioned that are availiable for the ITR and not the S2000. If indeed your point is that the ITR can be built to be a faster road racing/circuit racing than I will disagree. As far as drag racing is concerned you are right, do I care about drag racing, hmmmm NO. Comptech makes a reinforced diff., cusco, spoon, etc. make LSD, J's Racing, Feels i think, Ricks, and so on make gears. Many companies make sway bars. And as far as the Real Time ITR is concerned, I would love to see it race the Spoon S2000 racecar, would make for an interesting race. And with the upped HP on the 04 S2000 and introduction of a couple ITB systems, and with stroker kits like Feel's 2.3L and Turbo kits exceeding 400rwhp dont be suprised to see more very fast S2000 race cars. Hopefully in the next 2 or 3 years dome and mugen might introduce an S2000 to the JGTC GT300 class.

i sold my gmc typhoon for my ITR and I had a Street going S2000 at the same time..... so I was spoiled by huge torque and awd of the typhoon and was spoiled by the handling and quick steering of the S2000......... that made the ITR just a mediocre drive..... I lost every drag race (mustang gt, m3, s2000, etc.....), the steering was slow (compared to the S2000), it was noisy as hell (i couldn't hear my kids)...... so i sold it for a huge loss for only owning it 5 months....

Tedster's SPR in an S2000 video: (bottom right)

I assume neither is our quickest lap, I know mine wasn't. I believe Ted's S2000 has some mod's the ITR does not.

Notice how close they are in times.

Different strokes. I actually prefered the R over the S, but then when the sun came out ....

This would seem to contradict the autocross classifications listed above (which are based on the results of dozens of top-level drivers on a variety of courses).

Hmm. Maybe this is related to how water swirls the other way down the drain over there.
