Move to Santa Cruz an hang out with us small town types. You know, for a superstar in training , Santa Cruz would be an ideal place. Lots of inspirational beauty, little traffic, reduced cost of living (compared to SF), and lots of local support for the arts.

To top it off, when you get bored, you can go surfing!

The only downside is that on the weekend -population triples. Lots of visitors from San Francisco and such. That is why I chose Scotts Valley. I can get to all this goodness in 8 minutes. However; traffic is nil in Scotts Valley and the crime rate is almost "0". I've accidentally left my garage open (with pretty high dollar cars inside) numerous time and never had an incident. The police here are gestapo like. This is actually a good thing for the residents.

 

Viscreal- welcome back. I think it was you that I was gonna get together in San Jose for a beer, and it never happened. I'm in Napa full time now. About your SF move- keep your eyes open in your neighborhood for elderly people with a garage, that don't have a car. Many folks on a fixed income might welcome $100 a month to rent it to you.
Did you marry the lady you were going with (the one that we never saw a picture of in the miniskirt) or did you make a switch?
Also DWB(?) in Palo Alto took all the badges off his S2K except a lonely "S" and it looked pretty cool.

 

Man...sucks for the kids. I am of the firm belief that overpolicing a community leads to increasingly bizarre and scary children.
