There's no reason to change fluids all the time. If you change to GM or Royal it works hot and cold.

Way too many people change tranny fluids with the oil and the tranny fluids are designed to run much longer. I have never seen a forum where people change tranny fluids as often as the S2000 crowd does. I think they are bored and just decide they want to do something.

In the old days we put in points and plugs, now with no points and plugs lasting forever it's change the tranny fluid.

Change it and you'll never have this worry again.

I was considering the GM friction modified, but I think I'm gonna try that new honda MTF first. See how it goes. One of the guys on the north texas forums posted his findings with the different fluids. He's a pretty trusting source. I dunno, I guess I'll try it for myself. Thanks man

I've used Redline MTL for years with good results. MY00 have a habit of notchy shifters and 2nd gear grinds. It smoothed out most of the notchiness (except the 1st few minutes) and I don't grind 2nd anymore. It also lasts alot longer than the GM stuff.

I'm curious to see a breakdown of the "new" Honda MTF. A new color cap and label doesn't convince me that whats inside is reformulated. Reviews have been mixed.

Does anyone know of a real analysis?
