I just noticed today that the back window was fogging up on me. I turned on the air (only half way) and the back defogged in less than a minute. Maybe I was to quick to say I'd like to trade in the plastic for the glass....the only benefit of the glass now for me is that it would not scratch.

Can somebody explain to me why they would discontinue the current silver color and replace it with a different shade of silver???

I would guess that Honda just wants to add more color variety to the S2K line-up. I've noticed that the Boxster and Z3 silvers are brighter than the current S2K silver. Maybe Honda thinks they need to keep up by offering Sebring Silver.

IMHO both of the silvers look great! Your silverstone is now on its way to becoming a classic before any of the other colors.

It could be because the Silverstone was the best selling car. So they are changing the silver color to mix things up a bit. I myself prefer the Silverstone because it's unique.

I'm a little confused here people. Help me out. I don't mind the S2000 being produced until the year 2005 or whenever, as long as the engine isn't tuned up for more horsepower, that makes me much more jealous! I'm also confused from this fact, is there really going to be a glass rear window, because if so, then I'm going to stop adding milage to my current S2k so I can trade it in to get myself another one, just for that window I am just hoping not many new things will be added to the 2002 model besides the color.

Somebody clarify some things for me.

The current silver is what the original SSM concept car was done in, and it is specific to the S2000. Too bad we can't get the pre-production Silver that has just the lightest hint of gold in it, sounds ugly, but the pics are excellent.

Unique means one of a kind.

If 40% of the S2000s made so far are Silverstone Metallic, then it is anything BUT unique.

It is, however, the very best color. And I guess the dealers who said to us Silverstone Metallic buyers, "They won't be making these after 2001." were kind of right.

I think that it shouldn't matter if they make them longer. We have a cool car.
