Just got email from my dealer saying the car should arrive on the 24th and be available for pickup on the 26th. Not long now!


So if I use the dealer letter or specify "as delivered" would I be able to pick it up on the 24th? Or do they still have to keep it for other reasons. I am assuming the 2 day wait would be for them to wash the car and checklist everything.

I remember "the wait" all too well. Mentally prepare yourself for a 2 week wait. If it comes sooner, you'll be all the more surprised. I was literally shaking when I got "the call" that it was in.
FWIW, took about 2 weeks after VIN assignment over here on the east coast.

 

I have the VIN # for my 2001 silver/black (replacing the 2000 black/black a pickup truck drove into the center divider) and was told it would be ready for pickup 7/28. I'm in San Diego--could it be sitting over on the docks right now? I've been without a stook for almost 3 weeks and the withdrawal symptoms are terrible.

Dealer had my VIN last week (its at work) and he said mid August delivery. He did not know if the car was assembled yet or not. Damn 1 more month! Yeeeha.
