J's carbon intake
If it's the same set up I was looking into then you have to cut the inside of your hood to have the intake system fit properly.
In terms of effectiveness, you will notice a better throttle response when letting off of the gas at higher RPM, and then back on the throttle it will feel very responsive. The chamber manages to retain the cold air enabling you to feel the difference.
Great setup in my opinion, just too expensive for me.
Hope this helps.

yes, you've gotta cut the hood. it's an awesome looking intake and above 110 or so i can feel the car pull a little quicker. below 110 i don't feel anything at all.
btw everyone: search is down. don't get mad at this guy.

Damn it...cut the hood how?
Again I could be wrong, if we are not talking about the same intake. Just to confirm, is this the right intake system you are speaking of.....

That's the one. I really don't want to cut my hood.
Read the very bottom of the page where it says "warning" in the box.

That's the one. I really don't want to cut my hood. I'm just not sold on the comptech, and I don't want to risk water intake with the AEM.
Just be cautious, and stay away from puddles.
