Just got 4.77 gears installed
I've had mine installed for a while, and they are hella fun, I can pull on my buddies 04 GTO from a dig now
the only thign I dont like, is they pull the powerband down lower. IE the car is much quicker than stock from a dig, but not that much quicker stock from a roll, and the advantage gets less and less the higher the speed.
this can be dissapointing if you can thrash on mustangs or whatever from a sig, then they want to go from a roll and you lose big time.
but hey if you wanna go from a roll, thats what a supercharger's for

would it be a bad idea to get gears with a SC? i have an 04 with CT SC (10lbs boost soon) and would like anything to help me lower the 1/4 mile time, but don't want to sacrifice to much of highway speeds.
thanks
thanks
I don't have any gearing changes in my S yet but I can't see them accelerating less then stock on the top end no matter how you look at it. Granted, the top speed will ultimatly be lower but you should get to max speed in every gear that much quicker. I had gears installed on all my previous vehicles and this was the case every time. How do you figure that the S2000 will be any different?
