The more I drive with these gears, the more I feel that that Honda would love to have used these gears. I feel like the car does not bog anywhere in the low rpms anymore when pushing down on the pedal to pass. I find myself using very little trottle driving around with these gears.

I don't find a need to downshift much when driving around in traffic as I used to. For my driving style, when driving in 4th or 5th gear around town, the rpms are sitting in the right sweet spot everytime so I do not downshift into 2nd or 3rd as I used to. I like having my rpms around 4000-4500. Before the gears, I found myself downshifting to kept it here to help keep me from bogging when I need to pass. Now with the new gears, I have not expereinced the car bog because the rpms have an easier time revin up with the new gears.

I would imagine these gears are worthless on a 2.2L AP2 due to reduced redline and slightly more aggressive gearbox?

I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have noticed that most members that have commented on this mod have "pre-04" cars. Is this mod done on the 04/05 cars or does the slightly higher engine displacement allow for the same end result?

Thanks

I've heard the gear ratio is different on the AP2, so how do the 4.56 gears work on those. I have MY05 and this seems like a scary mod to get, but sounds oh so worth it.

Who does the 4.56's Rick or HTG?

I guess I would have to do the OEM swap because I wouldn't trust anyone local to do it. COuld the dealer or local mechanic handle the diff swap?
