everyone feels an improvement when they install something. It's a psychological response called cognitive dissonance.
THATS STATEMENT IS COMPLETELY FALSE, when i put my 3" Apexi ws2 on, the diffrence was instantly noticible, and it WAS NOT an IMPROVEMENT. I had to of lost at least 10-15 hp. It just doesnt pull to redline like it use to. Oh well guess the turbo will fix that though

unfortunately sound can be misleading. When I installed a J's single exhaust on my yellow 01 S2000 it seemed faster than crap. I could tell the difference...i knew it had to be the weight savings of over 40lbs...(yeah, like my butt can tell the difference at 1.46%....jeeezsh).

Also...and to much disappointment, when I sold the car and when I installed the much quieter heavier exhaust back on the car, the results were the same. The car felt quicker with the stock system.

It is ALL IN YOUR HEAD. Trust me, even if you gained say 3 hp (which I doubt) it would be unnoticeable...

However, as long as you are happy with your $ 100+ investment, that is all that truly matters.

Considering you have all proven power-ROBBING exhaust components on your car, id like to see a race against a stock S2k.

As long as your happy though!

Good thing you didnt do a before and after dyno because this thread would be completely different!

Are you serious that there proof the HKS loses HP? Because that's the exhaust I was eying for the future, since I want something on the quiet side under $800.

You should get what you like the best and fits your budget. Listen to the sound clips and posts that people have written up. There are many people on here that will tell they too love the HKS. Its all personal preference anyway.
