You naysayers are like my dad...everytime I buy something I've wanted and excitedly tell him about it, he finds some way to pull the rug out from under me.

Why are you dissin' Kenpo_S2000? He installed a header, he likes it a lot, he thinks it makes a big difference, he's happy enough to let anyone around come by and check it out with him to share the joy of A SIMPLE MOD. Instead of showing the lowest form of humor in sarcastically telling him he's full of it, can't we give him a congrats on making his S a little more HIS than HONDA's?

Thanks for the positive replies. I always found this site informative and never had a problem sharing anything with anyone. We all are S enthusiasts and it shouldn't be this negative. I do understand that all some people care about are numbers on paper.

I have gotten a lot out of this site since I have joined and am trying to give back by posting my comments. Even though they are just word of mouth and not numbers you can see, some people might get something postive out of it.

Like I said before anyone who would like to come check them out in person I would be happy to meet up with you.

I wish I was about 1000 miles closer to you, I'd like to see that header
I've had my eye on the Megan header for awhile now, and now possibly the Berk header...
I've always ixnay'd the DC header due to the bad publicity it gets around here, but it'd be nice to see a before and after dyno...do you have any dyno shops nearby?

Yeah Kenpo s2000, you should get it dynoed! I'm on the fence with DC parts, for the S that is.

On my buddy's Integra, the header made a big difference with straight pipe and Greddy exhaust!

So, is it just the the S is already tuned to near peak, and that any X part can cause it to lose power?

click on the "I want 230 rwhp NA thread" icon in my signature above. There are plenty of products that are proven HP gainers. There are also plenty of parts that do decrease power too...we've got a pretty good database being built up in that thread of what works and what doesn't.

I will look into a dyno but I think the closest one may be around 3 1/2 hours away. Kind of hard to do a before and after unless they would let me put back on the stock header at the shop.

And? I'll believe that what you say is true (although you provided no proof, either). The OP thinks it's better. He's sharing enthusiasm for what HE found to be a good mod for the money. Why you or anyone else should feel the need to dispute him is beyond me.

If the data you say exists really does, the OP is not doing a disservice to anyone else looking to buy one of these headers, since they will have no problems realizing how much power the mod is going to suck out of their car.

The truth only hurts when it's used as a sword rather than a shield.

i am about to sound like an asshole here but,

as one of the highest NA hp cars on the site, i think i know what im talking about here. his combo of aem cai, DC header, hks exhaust hes maybe +2rwhp over a stock s2. aem=+4, DC=-7, HKS=+5.

i dont want to sound like an ass and i never tout my #'s but please lets some of us older guys with more tuning knowledge help you out.
