Just Wondering...Why do users on this and other forums block their license plate #, when they post pictures of their cars...

In Sweden your home adress is only a phone call away if someone knows your car registration number. Brilliant service for car thiefs (thank you legislators). Not all board guests are nice people...

Makes it harder for someone to find out your home address if they want to steal your car.
Or if you get in a arguement with someone on the board they can't call your local police and anonymously report you for wreckless driving and such.

Cause there are a bunch of freaking goobers on the internet!!!!!
I have 2 kids and don't really trust posting my license plate...for S2000Chris reasons.
S2000Chris lived less than 100 miles from me, and at some point wanted to "fight". Not interested.
Easier to just avoid the issue.
