Key Programming ECU

I saw a thread the other night about programming the key when you get a replacement.

I have been looking for an hour and can't find it now.

Would someone please post the link?

AFAIK, you can program the remote, but the key is not self programmable. You need to get the locksmith to clone it, or go back to main dealer for programming.
