Sorry Unfortunately, if you live in Texas it is illegal for a child under 12 years old to ride in the front seat of a vehicle with a 1st generation airbag (unless you are able to secure the airbag). You'll have to find another vehicle to drive, unless you feel lucky that day and want to take a chance on nothing happening.
