We'll sell the locks for you on our web site for a modest overhead charge. Let me know if you want to do it.

Or just do the groupbuy under my name or someone elses. There is always a loophole.

"Hey everyone. I'm doing a groupbuy just contact Kodokan_4 for details."

Thanks to each and every one of you, for the support you have expressed regarding this issue. It makes me feel like all of the hard work I did on the first group buy was truly worthwhile! I also received many PMs from owners and sponsors, with offers to help, and great suggestions about how to continue on with selling the Seat Locks.

I love my friends on S2KI!!!

I just received the word from the big man himself. I hope it will be okay to quote this message from cthree:

"I've reviewed your request and have decided to allow your group buy to continue. Thanks for your patience, it's a challenge to separate the wheat from the chaff."

I think that is the word we have all been waiting for, and I actually think there is a compliment in there, too!

I will try to reach the McGard rep tomorrow, and patch things up with this order.

As always, I will be posting all of the details, and a list of owners who have requested a Seat Lock Set, since the last group buy.

Just give me a couple of minutes to shed a sigh of relief.

AND PLEASE- EVERYONE SAY THANKS TO CTHREE!!!

-Pete

This is great. It's nice to see common sense rule out. Maybe they should change your title from "Member" to "Wheat".

Cthree is always a fair man, and imagine how difficult it is to make judgments about all the issues that he faces. I certainly wouldn't want to be in his shoes.

Thanks, Erik!

My .02

Pete is da man for this GB.
Erik, thanks for letting common sense prevail.

finally,

ILikeBeer was correct. Moderators and COs volunteer and enforce the rules to the best of their abilities. Desputes with their interpretations should be forwarded to Cthree. This is his baby. Also, this is how it is/was supposed to work.

I realize that it is difficult when common sense directly conflicts with our cyber reality. Please understand that Mods and COs do their best and should never be personal.

Once again, glad things worked out. Have the locks, love them.
