I have MXs and I'm very happy with them. Definately better traction than the ES100s that were on the car when I got it.

I have driven the MXs in the wet with no complaints. The MXs are rated pretty well in wet traction so I'm not sure why people are concerned about driving them in the rain.

 

I have spt's they are great tires i went to the canyon a couple of times, and they held up really well just know your limits. I've had them +/- 11k miles and still has a lot of thread left.
