Lately we've been concerned...

So Rick, because you brought up the "Color Wars", this is really not scope wondering.

To all those mourning the loss of the Space Shuttle Columbia and its crew my condolences.
But a bit of perspective: 40 people died in a train wreck in Zimbabwee and 8 in a train wreck in Sydney in the last two days. And if things go the way they are headin at the moment many Iraqis and members of the 'Alliance of the Willing' will lose their lives shortly too.
Yes, we should all be concerned, but not about what people do to their S2000's.

For the Silverstone Metallic owners, never rice the car. Keep it stock, except for maybe swapping the emblems for real silver or white gold emblems, or maybe titanium. Titanium is almost Silverstone Silver in colour. Talk only to each other, never to Spa Yellow or Berlina Black owners. I don't even see why Honda makes rear spoilers, chin spoilers or side strakes in Silverstone Metallic anyway.
For the Spa Yellow/New Formula Red/Berlina Black Owners, write off the Silverstone guys as stuck up old fogeys with their heads up their rears and do whatever you want to your cars that please you. Those Silverstone stuck-ups never paid your monthly car payments for you, did they?
For the Sebring Silver or Suzuka Blue owners, you're really just Silverstone Metallic owners anyway, with a drop of difference in the paint batch. Lump yourself with the Silverstones.
For the Grand Prix White owner, do what ever you want. You're the only one.
Does that work?
Okay, here's a piece of honesty on my part. I like things clean, stock, and exclusive. When the S2000 first came out, I had the only one in my county. Now they are more plentiful and, by the way, not so ridulously expensive. Even a 16 year old in my local high school got a Berlina Black from his dad. Also, I think with the change in price-point, a change in experience/wealth/age came along.
I sometimes find the age gap brings a value gap too. But overall, I like the changes in the board. I like being exposed to the opinions of owners half my age. My S2000 still pleases me every time I touch it, and even more if I actually drive it. But I like sharing in the experiences of everyone else too.
Of course, it does make that new '02 Silverstone Metallic / Onyx Black NSX look better and better.

Hello all, I just read this post and thought i would share a few opinions with everyone. One, I am a 17 year old who is about to indulge myself in one of the best engineered honda car out there. All the critism ya'll have been dumping on is towards my age group or my generation, teeangers. I do have to admit that alotta people out there are buying hondas n such and "ricing" them out. I personally like to modify my cars and such...but to an extent to express my individuality and not to make my car become an eye sore. What most of the people on this thread post i think is sort of stereotypical. You put a teenager in a "honda" and expect him to "rice" it out. Just the other day i went to the dealer to take a look at an S2K and the sales consultant was like "are you gonna soop it all up??" and i just think that is kinda offensive. I know majority that most teeangers like to do all the fast n furious stuff in their imported cars, but not everyone is the same. Everyone has their own sense of taste and for anyone else to judge that upon themselves is kinda wrong. I mean the first time i looked at this car i was stunned and to drive it was like a whoel new world for me. I love that car for many reasons that would take all day to list. I just think that the "adults" shouln't think that we dont respect our cars and only use them as neckbreakers (headturners). I put alotta hours in taking care and enjoy them on the days. People just make it sound like the younger age group is spoiling the car and that offends me. So basically if i was rolling down highway with the adults s2k drivers with a few mods here n there (front aero kit( retaining stock formalities, just a little lower to the ground), 19 inch advan model 5 rims, cwest skirts) i wouldnt get any repsect from them..while i give them my full attention n respect...due to the fact that we both rolling in such prestigous cars. Sorry if this post was very long and har dto read.
