Lately we've been concerned...

To all those mourning the loss of the Space Shuttle Columbia and its crew my condolences.
But a bit of perspective: 40 people died in a train wreck in Zimbabwee and 8 in a train wreck in Sydney in the last two days. And if things go the way they are headin at the moment many Iraqis and members of the 'Alliance of the Willing' will lose their lives shortly too.
Yes, we should all be concerned, but not about what people do to their S2000's.

The folks on the shuttle were some of the best and brightest, and perhaps more to the point they represent many of our deepest aspirations. Many among us would give our left nuts (pardon my language) to ride a rocket into space. These are the explorers of our age. There's something horribly askew when an accident like this happens -- and I surely do hope it was an accident -- that hits me hard. To make matters worse (if they can be) the poor crew was nearly home. Clearly, I am grieving.
And just to be crystal clear, surely you know I don't want to belittle the other things happening in the world, Aus... It's just that I can't help my feelings about this. My sympathies to anyone who was touched by this. -- Charlie

So that blows your little theory out of the water.
How does that work?
