Leaky trunk?
Has anyone had a problem with water leaking into your trunk?
We've had some heavy rain over the last few days, and I've noticed that water leaks into my trunk from one corner. This happens when the car is parked, but not when it's moving. My car is a '02. I found this TSB...

...but have not yet had a chance to ask the Honda dealer about it. I will do so when I get a chance, but figured I'd post my question here first to see if anyone else has had this happen.
A complicating factor is that my car had some body repairs a few years ago on the side where it's leaking. This could definitely be part of the problem, but I don't recall having any leaks over the past two winters, so the jury's still out on this one. I'm sure the problem has to be either related to the body repairs, or a bad gasket (the one that lines the perimeter of the trunk).
So, if you've had a leaky trunk, how did you fix it? Was it covered under TSB? Was it a bad gasket? Tell me whatever you can. Thanks.

Be sure to keep the seals well conditioned. Fortunately my '01 hasn't had this problem but if it did, I'd replace the seal right away. If that didn't work I'd put a second seal on the trunk lid to meet the bottom seal and cross my fingers.

Absolutely! Use Shin-Etsu on ALL your seals including doors and hood. In fact, I use it to condition ball joint covers and other essential rubber parts all over the car.

Thanks a bunch for the tip, you may have saved me a lot of headaches if this works! I've got my fingers crossed.
