Default learing to be a better driver....

i wanna learn to be a better S2k driver.

located in florida.. i have friends that drive s2k and good drivers but im looking for like a school.

go to for the weekend.. drive numerous cars learn the ins and outs of everything..

i dont track the car.. just weekend spirited driving.. but i feel that understanding oversteer/understeer.. downshifting etc.. would not only make me a better driver.. but make me a safer one..

riley

anywho know of anywhere..

A very excellent idea! Hats off to you.

Skip Barber in GA is a good choice. There are schools located at all the tracks so call around and see what they offer. 2 days in school will make you a SUBSTANTIALLY better driver. Faster yes but far safer too. A better driver is the best mod you can get.

so skip barber would be the best?

i saw a really nice school in europe.. but it was around 4000$ for the one day... but they had lemans cars, f1 cars, touring cars, and the guy that owned the track/resort actually has his own car the ASCARI supercar

idk i just wanna go out and learn on a race car w/ instructor and then possibly learn to be better in my S..

ill check out skip barber

"Going out and learning on a race car" is VERY expensive, but you can do it if you want.

Most schools are aimed more at teaching you how to drive your own car, and you use your own car. The price goes up very quickly if you use a school car.

(At Skip Barber you do use school cars, BTW.)

I am an instructor with http://chinmotorsports.com/ here in Florida and we are based out of Orlando - We have an event at Sebring on the 25 which is sold out but there is a waiting list you can sign up for on their site - PM me if you need more information!
