Default Leather Seat Crease

What should I do when my chairs have these creases on them? What should I do to treat the leather? It looks real nasty. Any other owners have the same problem? The creases are on the left thigh holder that a lot of us sit on when we get in/out. I'm trying really hard to avoid that now. Help me...

BTW, my 02' S2K 1st to 2nd gears seems to be kinda notchy? I thought that problem was resolved after the 01' models? Some of the other gears feel notchy too. Maybe because of my sucky manual skills...

Unfortunately there isnt too much you can do about them. I have almost 35K on my car and they are in the exact spot as yours. I detail cars so I use a leather conditioner that I get from my wholesaler. Lexol is probably the best off the shelf product. They wont go away with any leather treatment but regualr applications of a good leather conditioner will help. The leather Honda uses is not of a good grade so one day I may replace mine with either an upgraded leather or go to a custom fabric seat.

I have the same problem, but it gives us a valid reason to replace the seats down the road

I think someone on the board successfully convinced their dealer that such creasing should not be happening so soon on a $30k car and so the dealer had it replaced. If its really bad on your car, you can try that route. Mine is creased, but 2 yrs+ and 26k miles later...i can live with it.

As for the notchiness, the shifter is notchy when the car is colder, but when things warm up (Way after the three bars stage), it gets smoother on most cars. I think the typical distance to get to that "fully" warmed up stage is around 6 miles. Our shifter's design i going to be a bit more notchy than most, but mine is silky smooth once its warm.

Getting the same problem in the same location. I don't even have 10K yet and first noticed it at~5or 6K.

leather cleaner will only help prevent cracks on the leather, the creases on the leather there is no cure for. i take care of my leather with a passion and still have a little bit of creases.

I hate those seat crease...

I have the same problem on my 00's seat after 19000miles.

and I can see that my 02's seat will show crease too in the not so far away future...l

so there are really nothing can do to avoid those crease?

I guess I should sit in the car less times then....

Usually the creases go away for a week when I used Lexol conditioner on them...

I think if you condition regularly they will be less noticeable.

Everyone's been asking me that question. I wish I can afford the Amuse hood. But right now I'm ordering the Amuse front clip.
