Leather Shift Boot Installation. . . Help!!

Hootsama,

Was this ever an imagined problem, resulting from not having the car! Once I got my own cover installed I realized it was not an issue. The sides look very finished (mine have a wonderful leather grain, too, which makes it look all the more like leather, unlike the cardboard commerical leather used in most cars).

So no side supports were needed.

I struggled for quite a while with the clips for the boot installation, trying to pry them with a screw driver. I finally used a pair of regular pliers to squeeze the clip. It worked perfectly. Each one came out without a problem. The rest of the job was easy.
