Leaving key in II before pressing start button

doesnt matter to me. i sometimes have my finger on the button before i even turn the key. starts right up

never really noticed anything on my s2k. but for my civic, if its almost near the empty mark...and i try to start it regular, it will crank a few times before starting.....but if i leave it in the II position for a few seconds, then start it,....it starts like normal.

hmm ... so looks like leaving it at II does really do something

I usually wait for about 3 seconds before I press the start button after leaving the key at II (I know it's 3 seconds because my alarm locks the door at that point).

i just turn the key and then poress the button, probally a one to two second lapse in time between when i turn the key and when i press the button. I have never had any trouble, it always starts right up.

Sometimes I hold the button while turning the key and it starts right up. no problems here.

i turn the key, enjoy the rev gauge going up and down and then start. sweet car.

I always wait until I don't hear the pump pumping anymore... once it stops, then I hit the button.

I wait for the FPR to do it's thing. I have found it starts easier after being boosted.
