Default leaving top down in a 2002

I know that leaving the top down for a long time in pre 02's will cause the plastic window to crease more quickly. But is there any reason to not leave the top down on an 02' model if it is safely in my garage?
i really want to leave the top down in the garage, it makes it that much more fun to look at.

I don't believe you'll have any problems. . .other than the fabric creases. . .but those come out after a few hours.

Enjoy your S2000 with the top down!

The top on my 2000 model hasn't been up since the middle of September. Creases have never been a serious problem for me. My problem is that the window has been cloudy and scratched since the day I picked it up in 1999. I see no reason not to leave it down. I just took mine out for a fun drive an hour ago and noticed that it was dusty inside but that's easy to fix.

I hate dust and small particles, so I have my hardtop on all the time ... Only when I feel like it do I take the hardtop off and put the tonneau cover over the soft-top. Never used the soft-top once.

I have my top down for extended periods all the time and have not had any problems with the plastic window creasing. Most ofthe creases come out after the top is up for a few hours anyway. I bought my car in Sept. 99 and have kept the top down for 4 months at a time sometimes.
