But then we would be talking about upgrading the F22 to an F20.

Hmmmm....as far as I know, it was the same lights (yes it was from superbright leds)....let me try this again....When I did this, they were invible during the day at any angle, and 90% invisible if you looked dead on at them.
I haven't driven behind my own car to see it, but I did take a look at them during the day, and I didn't notice a problem with them. Did the bulbs that you ordered consist of LEDs that were directed to the sides of the bulb?

The brake lights are LED. I believe everything else(turn signals, reverse lights) are incandescent.

Here is what I am currently installing (as of right now I have the front parking, tail/brake, and license plate leds installed).

Tail/Brake lights:

Front turn signals:

Front parking lights:

Side markers:

Rear side markers:

Rear turn signals:

Rear plate light:

I used some 'super white' leds for places that had a colored lense (like front parking lamp) rather then a colored led.
I will hopefully have pictures by the end of the week.

Dark,

Please post up some pics asap. I am really curious to see how these turn out for you!

Good luck,

I would go with tower style LED's if they offer them in the appropriate sizes. I know I do not have a S2, but here are some pics doing a little bit of LED work on my bird.

I have 3157 18 LED towers in the reverse lamps, and 3157 20 LED tower "switchbacks" for the front turn signals in the clear corners. I think they are pretty damn bright as you can see from the pics.

The rest of the bulbs have arrived. I should have them in tonight along with some night shots.

I ordered a relay but I am not sure if I am going to try it or just modify the current one.

*edit*
it was a long night and I didn't get a chance to install anything. hopefully tomorrow night.
