this car had been roughly 1/2 qt 500 miles.. pretty much as any ap1 i'd heard of...
Glad I've got a good one. 11 years of autocross abuse and mine goes through less than a quart in 6K miles.

Good luck with the rebuild.
Good for you......no......great! Round of applause for you.

OP, sorry to hear, good luck with everything.

I did the clutch master install and bleed.. I didn't have time then to get the car down and drive.. so that was this morning... I stepped into the S, put a foot on this " new " clutch master I had just bled, it felt great, I turned the key and pressed play.. and it was Game On... I went off to do my daily errands and under what I will call normal clutch work, it felt like a seriously nice pedal... I parked an got my shopping done to return home an caught myself first thing pumping the clutch, only to be halted in pump with, " Damn " that feels Great.. clicked gears.. easy effort.. pedal where I like it.. sweet..... thought i'd continue my write up..

enjoy your S2k 2day...

on a serious notable.. I am still in AP1 mode, I check this oil before I go drive.. unlike my old AP1 engine, this Ap2, hasn't used a drop so to speak.. I am so not used to seeing this dipstick always up around the full mark.. it's scary... where's all the oil staying.. I can't feel I am driving this engine any harder and I know not less as hard.. I've been enjoying this change.. I've been driving it.. it.. should be down half a quart.. a whole quart or two.. this is Not Normal......

do you Ap2 owners feel this way everyday... gosh, I feel Like " what, me worry " all over...

been driving my01 for several weeks now an feel the replacement engine has lived up to the junk yards.. "it was running when it came out ", still have some 30 plus days of warranty left though.. really am lovin the feel of a new clutch master cylinder.. oh my... little trim pieces I'd never owned on my car since new.. still awaiting the cig lighter / acc cover.. thought the black plastic ring was some sorta washer.. anyway, so I ordered new what I could.. pic's to follow... happy motoring...

Damn I have a lot of years to fill in the blanks.... and a ton of photos... wow... Mase coming to the rescue back like 6 years ago christmas... lost everything i once thought important... got away with the shirt off my back and the S2000.. picked up an old new motorhome to be home for 4 1/2 years... went an had a heart attack and then everything started... man, they call that phone number you put in the in case of emergency.. and i have to say i didnt expect any of this... after years of not knowing what was going on in my childs life... that phone call from the hospital to my daughter taught me more then i ever imagined...i'll take care of this Dad... something I know maybe a hundred plus old people in Florida who dream of hearing something like that from their child.. folks dont see much of or any of their children once they end up in Florida it seems... i mean, i left Florida and returned to care for my folks... but i being me, didnt see me as needing help.. laying there in a hospital bed after they went an had to stick a stent in me.. so... giving it thought an recognizing something more important than all the important stuff stuff...start laughing old man... i sure as hell lost alot.. lost everything in my divorce.. lost everything i had rebuilt... except some sanity and the S2000... but I won it all... damn.. yea, i took care of my folks.. lost a lot of no they really werent my friends.. an only a couple who were, really are.. and im hearing from others who had given me crap, about their folks an they dont have time for that.. and i smile.. i had time... i had that simple courage and myass just got rescued by my daughter.. who didnt want me down in florida any more.. she bought me a house in pittsfield massachusetts... when i said the S2000 needs work.. she bought me a 05 honda civic hybrid and... take my time rebuilding the S... there's a kid who knows her Dad... kinda weird.. Im building a garage... should say, rebuilding a garage...
