Garage is beginning to take on new shape.. making room for a sandbox... better pic's coming..




been cleaning up the junkyard engine.. speaking with a few who have swapped the 04'AP2 into an 01'AP1.. I'm swapping in my 01 cams, depending upon the outcome of the measurements and overall wear...same with the flywheel..




since I do have over 200k on my chassis, I'm going to go over bout everything.. clean up some rust and might consider repaint...been this color since I found it this way...

 

been an interesting couple days.. no problems other then age.. had to cut off the old ap1 driveshaft bolts.. soft inner hex just twisted round.. 3 bolts out of 12 actually broke loose an came out clean..

bit of oil came out the rear drive shaft to rear axle flange when I took out the drive shaft....

one out of three cat studs twisted off..

not much to write home about...

 

guess I get another star....7 yrs.. been a fun car.. course these few days been some work.. getting to know more bout this car every day...

Sachs clutch with 100k on it.. unless someone tells me different, looks good to me... saves me a few hundred..
