Hello sk2 owners.

Talk about not living with your S2000.

Here is my story.

I bought a 2005 S2000 about 3 yrs. ago. I loved that car. I sold to a Honda dealer.

I watched my car on their web site. I went back 2 weeks later and bought it back from them. The manager was Great ! He sold it back to me $750. above what I paid me for it.

I had it 1 yr. sold it back to the dealer.

Last year. I had to buy me another one, I missed that car. I found one on auto trader. It was from a private owner.

Same color as my last.Silverstone I was the 3 rd owner. The car only had 17,000 miles on it. Excellent condition.

I have only 19,000 miles on it now. Only comes out when the sun shines !

I love this car, it will be a keeper till ,I go to heaven. I hope my car can go with me !

Happy S2000 ower here for life.

I'm living without my S and it's pretty miserable. I totaled my S a few months back and replaced it with a 370z on a impulse buy. It just isn't the same.

Let's see, I bought my S in 2000. The other cars I was interested in then was the BMW M Coupe and the Corvette. I probably would be driving the BMW.
However, as far as missing the S, I left mine in NJ for eight years back in 2002 while I went to college and worked. I missed it but survived. Today it is nice having a practically new car (24k miles) every time I want to drive it.

I'm also on my 4th! 2001, 2006, 2007 and 2008. The only way I'll buy my 5th is if I find another 07 GPW with Red and Black interior with very low miles.
I've learnt my lesson, I'm keeping my 2008 NFR with 15K miles as a weekend driver until I'm no longer to drive it.

For those of you that have said "I'd probably own a boxster"... have you ever driven one? I drove several while owning my AP1 and all I have to say is that I hated the transmission, and it just felt cheap all around (relatively speaking).

Meh, I cant live without an s2000. I sold one only to come back to another one two years later. There is nothing like an old Honda. Can't wait till I'm successful enough to own an NSX. A s2000 will still be in the garage. Next to my lotus. ha that'd be the life.

Which Boxster did you drive? I drove the 987 S and it was just a nicer car all around. The older 986 sucked but the 987 is definitely much better. Even with the factory short shifter kit, the Boxster's transmission is no match for the S2000, but the Boxster excelled in steering feel. It's a car I would definitely drive. Love the S2000 engine, but the 3.2L flat 6 sounds better to me.

I store mine during the winter from November to April.

It's the worst 5 months of my life.
