Like a Virgin....
Greetings fellow gear heads! Name is Brian and as you can see, i'm new to this forum. HAD a 95 NSX-T (red/tan) but lease was over and now i have in my hands a 2001 Silverstone and Black Stook. How'd i get the 95 NSX and why didn't i keep it? Well, my pops works for a company that has a few dealerships and somehow was able to fool the leasing company for a ridiculously LOW LOW price for the Nizzer...if i tell you how much, you'll kill me. Car was in "eh" condition (mechanically) from previous owner and my pops and i didn't wanna spend more money fixing it, so here i am with what i know will be a killer fun and fast car (i miss the low end torque of the V-6 tho!)
Anyway, plans for my new baby: Comptech Supercharger and OZ Superlegger wheels. THat's about all the money i want to put into it as my Stook is leased. Anyone have performance reviews with the centrifugal supercharger? I use this car everyday to drive into the city (heavy traffic) so i'll need some low end, which i know the supercharger won't give until about 3,000RPM. Also, anyone do a weight reduction to their car yet? I was hoping to get rid of the airbags, floormats and lining whereever i could. Any suggestions?
Finally, how do you get pictures on your posts?
More to come....

Can recommend a good intsall for the S/C if you need one.
Would not recommend lowerin if you a freq. driver in NYC. I was living in Manhattan for the first six months of owning (have moved to the burbs) and those roads can realy beat the sh!# out fo your ride.
Out of curiousity, where did you lease your car and what terms did you get?

Montclair Acura... the firm that my father works for onws the place so we got it for cost (well, below cost) I can refer you to the sales manager there if you'd like. I used to work there in teh summer. The car goes back Tuesday, so if you want it, let me know SOON! Lease payments will definetely be up as the leasing company realized their mistake (that's why they won't let me renew the lease). But the buy-back is relatively cheap for the car you're getting.
My suggestion is to buy. Let me know if you are interested. 40,000 Miles, 5 spd manual, T-top, Red/Tan Needs new clutch.
$42,000
Hohokus, NJ where is that by? I'm by Fort Lee.. near the GWB
We ought to organize a weekend event with others in this forum....
Talk to you later... cheers!

Sorry - no interest in the NSX (but sounds like a nice car). I was referring to the S2K lease terms.
HoHoKus is very near you. Cross GWB to 4west 17 north. Nest to ridgewood, near Paramus.
Park Ave Acura did my S/C work (not far from you) - great job.
Agree as to local events. Owners up here arent very organized abt that sort of thing.
