long time lurker first time post!
so i live in NE i got my car back in november a 02 gray S2000 with 40k on it. i traded in my 03 acura 3.2cl Type S six speed. i gave up alot of nice features on the acura that i want back!!! so yesterday i installed the heated seats, the remote starter, the upgraded radio i have alpine type R components and an alpine 10" sub with the custom ebay box that falls in the hole in the trunk with the modify adapter to control it thru the factory controls sounds great and works perfect with a pioneer deck with ipod adapter. now the only thing that i am missing is my heated mirrors!!! i saw a thread a while ago on and cannot for the life of me find it!!!!!! i have a set of spare mirrors to play around with but dont knwo where to start
please help thanks!!
please help thanks!!
heated mirrors ? they are outside the car why heat them ? Sorry, I am not being a smartass, I honestly don't know why a car would have heated mirrors.
My S in 34 years of driving is the most luxurious car I have owned, I generally drive around in my 1973 FIAT Spider (bought new) or my 1934 British sports cars so the S to me is pure luxury and I have heard of heated mirrors but for the life of me I can't figure why anyone would need them.

You'd heat them to keep the ice off in a New England winter. In a Maryland winter though, we just scrape them. But if you're driving an S2000 in an ice storm, heated mirrors aren't going to be you're biggest worry.
Well ok, that is one I would never have thought of but it makes good sense.
The few times I have been in the snow I just scraped the mirrors but it was not enough of a problem that I would have thought someone has made a solution to the problem. Of course like I said the FEW times I have seen snow.
