Considering how much stuff my GF brings on trips, we were lucky to fit it all in. Kept the sub and amp in, no spare tire, put stuff under the soft top. Putting things in bags seems to work better than a small suitcase because you can compress it.

I'm thinking of making the drive from Ottawa, Ontario to Kissimmee, Florida this winter. Comes out to 1,450 miles OR 2,340 kilometres whichever way you want to look at it. The only thing that worries me is the weather, if it's bad it could mess up the whole trip. If I do drive down I'll fly home and leave the car at my parents house and fly back down to pick it up sometime time in April.

This will be the first trip that's more then 2 hours with the S so I'm pretty pumped.

@Everyone - Post pics if you have em - I know you do!

dam2- I left Maine in between two snow storms and I hit snow for 2-3 days of my month or so trip I took. So far the s2k with summer tires is the worst car I have ever driven in the snow (shocking, right?) and it was entirely white knuckle miserable. A civic decided it would be cool to pass me doing 40mph on a snowy road (two lane) and as he attempted, he did more than a 360 degree rotation and came within inches of smashing me. Huge asshat. No one will have patience for a convertible in the snow, even if they can't drive any better.

Expect any snow of anything over a flurry to shut you down wherever you are. If time's of the essence you might be better of flying. But so long as the roads are clear...

Ya the snow is really the only thing worrying me. Last year, spur of the moment me and my buddy decided to drive down to Florida. We left Dec26th @ 10PM and within 1hr30 we were in a blizzard and it stayed like that until we got to Maryland. It was the worst thing ever, I can't imagine even attempting it with the S lol.

Me and my Girl are driving from the north of Scotland to the south of France at the end of August and it should take us just under 24 hours including the ferry trip. Its a trip of 1300 miles and then a week later we have to come back, plus there will probably be around 300 miles or so in the middle so looking at about 3000 miles on the clock!

This is almost embarrassing, but the longest trip I've ever done in my S2K is 200 miles, round trip to Clear Lake from North SF Bay. Anything longer and I prefer smooth, quiet and comfy. I'm getting old.

Reminds of the old Route 66 TV show ( sorry kids)about two cool guys and their adventures travelling across the country in a late '60s Corvette. In the real world driving one of those more than a few hundred miles would have you deaf and pissing blood.

I'm too old to want a drive the roadster longer than about 3hrs( to the lake place), but my wife and her 85yo mother put on about 500 miles on the S2000 in 3 days with no problems.

Longest road trip was about 9 hours round trip, including an amazing drive through a mountain pass we have here in Oregon. I find these seats to be surprisingly comfortable
