What's your longest trip distance in the s2000...I took it in a 1300 miles trip to CA from houston in a day.

PS. i had to fill up every 200 miles which was definitely annoying (most of the way to CA was desert, the last thing i want is to be stuck somewhere without gas.)

ALL this milage was done in ONE sitting. a total of 22-23 hours driving, including gas stops. I didn't want to stop to sleep at a hotel.

Top down? Damn! I'd go insane trying that. That had to have been gas stops only.

 

why? is the car not comfortable for a long period of time?

 

The car is not very pleasant and comfortable if you kinda of drive it in such a long distance....well thats my experience ..and opinion..
because the interior is kinda of cramp...?and you cannot move much..as a result your body is aching all over...heheheh....
but overall i still love the S....
its a superb car one has to own...

 

Longest trip was South Dakota (where I bought it) to New York City (where I live) roughly 1500 miles which included a stop in Chicago to visit family and what not. Did it in about 3 days. My back was KILLING me!

 

I drove mine this past spring on a site-seeing trip to New England. 2400 miles in four days...anything over 400 - 500 miles a day is quite tiring though with the car's firm suspension.

 

How do you guys do it? Driving from LA to San Francisco is annoying enough. Especially since you have to fill up so many times.

 

When I picked up my new car I drove from Boston Massachusettes to Charlottesvillle Virginia- not sure the mileage but it was a 10hr trip lol... The previous owner said it was definitely the longest the car had ever been driven since he owned it
