Looking back on 2001...what made it the best!
Having faced some horrific times as a nation this past year, I find my heart lifts with cheer as I look back to identify things that made this past year pleasant for me. I find that, without a doubt, becoming the extremely proud owner of an S2K...excuse me...a gorgeous Spa Yellow S2K (that's better
) has to top the list.
Every day since November 10th (when I purchased it) I've made sure to drive it [...welp, except traveling to Ohio for T-giving...doh!]. And because of that, everyday since November 10th I've found a reason to smile.
Funny now to look back on my first "Newbie S2K" post:

What made it good:
I placed my order for a 2002 Spa with Hardtop in October at MSRP and put money down for an April delivery. I got more involved with the forum and decided to take an active role to develop the Upstate Region, becoming a Community Organizer. Then on 12/31 I tortured another dealer and then got my original dealer down below MSRP, what a great way to end the year!
What made it great:
I would be remiss if I did not type this. Having left an AutoX early to go have dinner with my parents because Dad was not feeling well, I get there just in time to save his life. He stood up to come to the dinner table, got week in his knees, passed out and fell on the floor. When I got to him he was not breathing. I administered mouth to mouth and brought him back! No more medical training other than seeing it on TV. He is fine now, his heart medication had built up in his system and it was causing problems with his blood pressure. I know I got much older that day!
