Looking for the Miata Tube to complement your Muz Mat?
How can they claim a patent on something being sold elsewhere as a Miata tube? Seems odd.
Hmm, I suppose if I go and patent the pool noodle tube for use as a window spacer, I can claim its a different invention because it doesn't melt on contact with sunlight
Maybe they should work that out before patenting their version.
Its also a stretch to say their product is recommended by honda. The service bulletin suggests using a felt coverered tube but doesn't exactly endorse a brand
Thanks for the tip on the pool noodle- I'll definitely be using it...its a great idea.

I had one of these made with the added difference of being covered in the same velour as my Roof Well MuzMats.
I'm going to keep it in the storage straps of my Trunk Lid Saddlebag soon to be available.
I find most times my window wants to crease and other times it's just fine for weeks on end. Just lately it's started folding without creasing again but I don't expect it to last. We'll see

I've had a similar experience. My original roof never creased. I wondered what you guys were on about.
Then my S was vandalised and my roof replaced. It creased pretty much all the time and required me to get out of the car mid sequence and 'pop' the crease.
My car was recently resprayed (do a search on 'respray' if you don't know the details) so the roof was removed and refitted. Since then it doesn't crease anymore.
I would be very interested to know what aspect of the fitting affects whether or not it creases. I suspect it has to do with tension across the rear window.
