I know the average person would think this car is low enough, but you just have to lower it more

So should you go with springs or coilovers?

coilovers if you want to have the ability to change the height (ie. low in the summer, not as low in the winter).

plus, depending on the coilover, there is gonna be a big performance gain over stock...ie; JIC, T1R, etc...

I'm getting enough scrapes with my car in stock form. If you aren't getting enough to make your blood run cold, by all means lower your car.

I'm in the same boat, I scratch on my driveway if I come in too fast. I would like to drop the wheel gap by an inch or so but don't know if I can handle the cars ground clearence. If I get coilovers whats the highest I can set it? I know when my brother got teins for his accord it was about a 2 inch drop even on the highest setting but thats an accord with 5 inch wheel gap stock

I'd say drop it.
I've got Comptech Coilovers on mine, and I love it. It does scrape on bumps, but it's just a matter of knowing the limits of what it can and can't go over. Going in at an angle really slow helps.
