Xpander is having a bad hair day..

If you do lower the car on a simple set of coilovers, it will be all cosmetic and it can be a detriment to the handling.

The street is not like the racetrack in that there are bumps, potholes, dips, etc. So to make the comparison to the King S2000 is no good. Track=smooth and consistent, street= bumpy and unpredictable.

If you do lower it, make sure you get some good quality coilovers so you can at least keep the handling on par with the stock setup.

I would probably just get new springs. I don't know that I want to spend 2 grand on suspension . So we'll see how it looks with the 18"s and go from there.

Actually, S2K talk is where I meant to move it. It was originally in Under The Hood, usually reserved for technical questions, and much less visited than S2Ktalk.

But thanks for the itchy trigger finger on maligning moderators... Much appreciated!

lowering your S2000 without properly tuning other suspension parts will be detrimental to your car's handling capabilities.
