My advice is to not lower it. If you want firmer shocks all of the ones suggested are good, but lowering the S2000 might not improve handling. Check the site for similar threads.
OP: Tein has pictures on their website of the S2000 with S techs. See if that's the look you're looking for. They are a very good company. Their springs are a little on the soft side, which should be just fine for you. They may or may not improve handling, but they generally will improve it slightly.
Skunk2s have the most agressive drop of around 2.25'' front and 1.85'' rear.
The rest of the springs are on the mild side.
I like the way the espelirs make the car sit, personally.
Tanabe is another company that sometimes gets over looked, but seems to make very good products.
In the looks dept. Espelirs will get you the drop you want. Other springs will still leave a little gap. The espelirs flush the tire and fender (but don't tuck in yet)
I think that the S Techs give the car a more "factory" look. In other words, the car sits the way it should have from the factory, whereas the Espilars give the car a little more of that slammed look. I really dont think you could go wrong either way. I went with the Teins because they seem to have a little better rep for quality.
Heres a side shot I found.
I have espelirs and I love the drop. Mine actually didn't settle fully until a month or two later. It dropped my car about 1.75 inches. It's lower but not too low where you cant drive over speed bumps. Here are a couple pictures of my ap1 on espelirs.
By the way, I would probably save up and get some Koni yellows because your stock shocks wont last that long with these springs. At least mine didn't.
