M P G on a recent trip
While on a recent trip I decided to make a 10.5 gal run at best gas mileage.
10.5 gal 93 octane
331.2 miles at average of 72 mph (mostly cruise control)
no VTEC, most shifts at 5000 rpm with moderate acceleration, getting to 6th as quick as possible
mostly flat or rolling hills while driving
Top up
AC on with 1 fan light the whole time
Results:
31.6 MPG

Wow, with my previous car which was my 02 SVT Lightning, I was only able to average 8-9mpg at best. I had an 01 Cobra before that which was bought back due to the fact it was in the shop more than I got to drive it, I averaged around 31mph on the highway, and 25mpg in the city. Right now, I seem to be averaging right around 17-20mpg in my new S2000 which has about 210 miles on it now.
Junehhan..
I was just at the Montgomery Inn eating ribs and Grader's on that trip. Cincinnati is a GREAT town.
I usually get 17-22 mpg in the city. I tend to drive harder with more shifts above 6000 rpm.

Welcome to our great town! No matter how badly the liberal scumbags in the media try to trash our town and slander it with one sided false crap, I still like to consider it my great town! No trip to Cincinnati is really complete without a visit to Skyline's Chili parlor, the Montgomery Inn Boathouse, and of course, Graeter's Ice Cream. The fact we have lots and lots of hills here, and the fact we tend to get low quality fuel probably contributes to why people in this area in general burn more gas.
