Default Magnetic Drain Plug

Just wanted an opinion on which type to get. I saw some cheap ones at a sight in another posting and also on ebay. The ebay ones go for around 10 dolalrs comapred to the 3.50 ones on this magnetic drain plug site. But I did notice that the bolt was different. The cheap one seems to have a smaller magnetic piece that goes into the oil compared to the ebay one. Does that make a difference.

Thanks

About a year ago, Road Rage provided a link to a direct Canadian source for mag drain plugs. They were about 3-4$ if i remember correctly.

They are very well made and have a large magnet on them. They also have a combo drain washer that is metal with a rubber insert gasket.

No need to spend $$ on drain mag drain plugs.

Regards,
BD

I know there a pretty big magnet on the oil pan and the tranny. I just used the spoon one but no one ever know it there.
