So you did this:
Put the key in the ignition (DON'T TURN IT)
Press & hold the "Trip" button
Turn the key to the full on position (your dash lights up)
Continue to hold the "Trip" button until the light goes off (If after 10-20 seconds of holding it the light does not go off, let go of the button and see if it goes off)
If this doesn't work, take your car in to your service department.
