No, thats's not at all what you said. You also said that you "can't find it" not that you never got one. Anyway, I did give you the answer and it DOES work (unless your "trip" button is broken).

I'm sorry but I assumed that you owned the car for a while. I should have seen that you have only been here for 8 days. If you have owned the car a while and still don't have a manual, then my commentary stands.
