Everyone acts like because the pistons move fast this engine is the love child of Jesus and Bernie Ecclestone.
I do much prefer driving, and especially riding, small displacement but high revving and high HP/L engines. The very thought of a Harley engine in a sport bike makes me puke. Some like low-revving but big displacement or FI engines, which is perfectly fine.

Of course. I was focusing mainly on the proverbial argument that takes place on this forum over the years, a high HP/L makes an engine superior, more efficient if you will, in terms of performance, which isn't the case.

Efficient as in fuel savings? Absolutely not. a 4cyl 900cc motorcycle engine on a 400 lbs bike is less efficient than a Prius.
Efficient as in space? Yes. Small engine. Big power. (without FI)
Efficient as in performance? I can't say. Very much depends on the definition of performance. It probably doesn't hurt that F20C produces V6 power in a smaller form, at the cost of torque (which is nice to have in everyday sitautions). This should help in weight savings and distribution, with positive effects on handling.
I agree that the whole high-MPS thing is not "the love child of Jesus and Bernie Ecclestone." Still, it's a cool piece of useful technology that doesn't exist in many other cars.
