When its a 250lb "chick" handing me my coffee it just adds insult to injury

 

Sorry i had just gotten up with a hangover so i didn't read what i typed.

A women at my job has the same Miata that pictured. She works in the morning were i work at night. By the time i clock in she been gone for about an hour. for the first few week she got the car (she had an older one before this one) My Co-workers would ask me why was i here in the morning leave and come back. When they saw her car in the parking lot they thought it was my S2000. Also they would ask me when did i buy the hardtop for the S2000 cause the Miata has the hardtop

 

It goes well beyond cars. Any time someone isn't an enthusiast of something, odds are that they'll tend to lump the different products all together. We all see details and differences where we want to see them.

Why get worked up about it? I'm sure there are things that the OP lumps together that someone is an enthusiast about.

 

They do look similar, regardless of how many of you want to admit it. Face it, most everyone who makes that comment to us isn't going to be an auto enthusiast or a vert afficinado. Take the compliment, correct them nicely, smile, and drive off.

Don't let your egos get too big guys.

 

Also, a compliment is a compliment, doesn't mean she wants to sleep with you.

 

Talking to 250lb women is your second mistake.

 

Once I saw a Miata farther away from me and said, "Oh, look there's another S!"

 

There's a silverstone where I work, but always parks in a completely different parking lot. One day I went outside to smoke without my glasses and really thought it was the S next to me (granted it was a decent distance away, and my eyes are pretty shot). When I went to get in my car later I was highly disapointed

 

still drunk??

 

Those side by side shots are nice, looks like Mazda took some of the lines especially the front quarter panel from the S2000, the Honda is still much better looking.
