I'm really not that picky about it so if he's bored let him have at it but it's no big deal. If he wants to do it though, the time is now while the engine is out of the car.

Joshua, didn't we have a conversation several years ago about how nice it would be to have an S2000 powered Miata? At least I think it was you I swapped some notes with about this...
Great to hear from you - yes I remember that conversation, and Alex is making it come to fruition. He's doing a more through build than I ever anticipated and I'm really looking forward to seeing its capabilities.
When are you going to make it down to Sebring for some fun on the track?

Not sure when I might get down there for a track day. We bought a horse farm a year ago and I've been so tied down to it that I finally sold the Formula Car. I haven't raced or been on a track for over a year -- and I'm missing it badly! I / we do plan to get back into it as soon as we can but our upgrades and repairs to the farm would have bought a pretty nice Ferrari track car.
I'm kind of jonesin for a Formula Atlantic but somehow this car (Miata) really got me thinking about a lower priced street/track toy as a stand in for a while... who knows, I've still got my big enclosed trailer so I'm not giving up.

.. I'll be heading over to the shop tomorrow to roll & flare the fenders.
Both of my cars at the shop 8*(
I rolled/flared the driver's rear on Wednesday, the lip is flat against the panel and the panel flares out 1/2":
Fender roller mounted on Passenger rear:
Meanwhile, Pedro was finishing prep on the doors, trunk, and hood:
And then he painted them:
After I left for class he sprayed the insides of the doors/trunk with clear. I'm heading over there now to roll the front fenders (should be easier than the rear) so I can get out of his way. Next, he's going to paint the engine bay, interior, and trunk.
