I see you are registered for Homestead on the 19th and 20th. I'm confident that you'll solve the mechanical dilemma and we'll see some fast laps on the track next weekend!

Car is still down at the shop with engine/turbo manifold issues. I'm going to the NASA Nationals next week at Mid Ohio running a TTE Miata so I haven't had time to do anything with the car. When I get back I'll deal with it.

I'll post some new pictures tonight. We have the car running with the turbo on and it's tuned for the limit of NASA's TTS Time Trial class (8.7:1 power to weight ratio). The car makes full boost at about 2800 RPM and makes 240ft lbs of torque at just 4000rpm, it's absurd.

Once the motor reaches 270whp, we start bleeding boost towards redline in order to stay at 270whp. The car runs great but we've been chasing some minor gremlins so I haven't been able to drive the car at 100% yet. This weekend I'll be replacing all of the turbo manifold nuts with Nord-Lock washers and deformed thread locknuts (so they stop backing out) and rewiring the battery with larger wire (6 gauge wasn't working very well).

Next week a new (larger) Setrab oil cooler goes on along with oil filter relocation surgery (the heat from the downpipe was frying my sensors and oil filter). Stay tuned, pics tonight!
Congrats on your turbo setup. What're the specs on it if you don't mind me asking, full boost at 2800 rpm with 6000 left to go is pretty serious to say the least. Hope that setup takes care of business on the track!

It's a custom log manifold with a Garrett GT2860RS. We changed the exhaust housing to a v-band Tial SS to save weight & space. The wastegate (38MM) and BOV are both Tial units.
