if you do nothing but commute, it's a poor choice. if you drive it for fun now and then and commute too, it's great.

i commute ~25 miles each way every day. i love the car. it's a bit loud and such, but in the summer i just put the top down and forget about it.

in the winter with the no-fun tires it's a bit of a drag, but that's the worst it gets. and in the summer i take it out to the canyons now and then and have a great time.

 

Just test drove the car. So amazing! Handling is way better then my bimmer and it feels so solid. Love it.

Noise is loud but sounds good so I don't think I'll mind it.

I did have the rear end break loose on a few turns but it grabs really fast, then again it was hot out and dry so I see what you mean about bad for winter driving.

The owner of the car said Honda had to replace the Top because of a micro tear. How common of a problem is this and should I be worried? Are there things you can do to prevent this? If I buy an S should I budget on replacing/getting top repaired at certain intervals?

 

It really depends on you. I'm perfectly happy with my S as a DD. Other people aren't.

i dd my S i love the car and have fun driving it but when im in heavy traffic its not that great having 2 drive stick but when ur out of the traffic the S is the very best you can get when you rev it up 2 vtec and pull up 2 a Z tryn 2 race them and they slow down and dont look at you is the greates cuz they know u can smoke them hahahah
