Mileage anxiety
In essence you are serving as the caretaker of the car for someone else to enjoy after you are done with it. If you like playing that role and feel that it is worth the money you might make if the car appreciates enough to overcome the expenditures while you own it then carry on. Personally I would rather be be the person that owns the car after you. I’m pretty sure that person will appreciate the sacrifice you are making.
OP, you’re a complicated guy.
Posts range from, “Im not putting money into this thing. It’s nothing special and only worth like $6k” and “I will barely even drive it”, to “I’m anxious to put miles on it”.
Think about that 91 mile AP2 that’s selling for $50k. The one where you commented “why would anyone buy this for so much. Its not worth it”. Well...that car’s value didn’t rise much from when it was new....and he has to deal with people commenting on how its mot worth much when he tries to sell it. Before you comment that $50k is some sort of huge profit...look at a calendar and remember what year it is.
What circumstances in what universe could possibly make you anxious to put miles on the like 140K mile car you bought at the price of like 7K or something? You’re free. Just enjoy it. At the worst, your $7K purchase will depreciate to $5K. I’d see a doctor if you’re still anxious.

if you have a sub 10K mile s2000, sell it for $40K, then buy one with 60K miles.
otherwise, a car is a terrible investment- at best you'll break even. I drove my 2003 s2000 for 35K miles and sold it for $2000 more than I paid for it 7 years prior- all the while spending nearly $10K on insurance, tires, entry fees, and maintenance.
I understand your hesitation, but I favour the driving experience over all else meaning miles add to my enjoyment of life.

I did wince when the odometer rolled over 60,000 miles recently. But I was VTECing (is that a real verb?) on back roads here in Southside Virginia enjoying the wind and the exhaust note so the feeling was momentary. Time to start on another 60K miles. I'm sure my future widow will sell the car and not look back.
