I literally laughed out loud at this. :-) Here in NJ, that would be a big no-no... But I think that is a perfect use for the elastic strap! I just wish it was legal here... eh... perhaps when I retire out of this hellish state.

Than, you have nothing to complain about. Figuratively and literally. Maybe a buffing pad to polish the shine on your dome to blind unsuspecting drivers.
